ST NEWS Volume 4 Issue 4 was the 25th issue of the magazine, and the scrolltext of this demo opens with: “welcome to what may enter history as the best ST NEWS issue ever to be published”. That summer, Richard Karsmakers and Stefan Posthuma had spent three weeks in England for the “LateST NEWS Quest”, visiting software houses and meeting people like Jeff Minter, Steve Bak, Jez San or David Whittaker, and this issue told the whole story.

The magazine became double-sided with this issue, and the disk was crammed with four demos, by Stefan, by In Flagranti and by John M. Phillips, the author of Nebulus. This one is Stefan’s: its credits note a “picture scroll routine inspired by Ballistix”, and the keys 1 to 4 switch between four tunes, three by Mad Max and Panther by David Whittaker.

This remake was made for the new ST NEWS website, where the demos of each issue run in the browser (see ST NEWS #stnewsreborn).
